Mr. Jimmie "Peanut" Mauldin, Jr. died on March 30, 2022, and the House of Representatives mourns his passing.

Mr. Mauldin was a native of Mobile, Alabama, a 1968 graduate of Williamson High School, and a United States Navy veteran who worked 30 years in chemical manufacturing before retiring from ELF Atochem.

He was a member of New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and is survived by his wife of 52 years, three daughters, one son, nine grandchildren, four great-grandsons, and numerous other family members.

The House of Representatives records his death with deep sadness and offers this resolution as tribute to his life and in sympathy to his family.
