• Recognizes the Reyicepes Festival hosted by the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, held in Oxford, Alabama on April 8 and 9, 2022.

• The Muscogee Nation is a self-governed Native American tribe located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, with 86,100 citizens and is the fourth largest tribe in the United States.

• "Reyicepes" means "We Have Come Back" and commemorates the area of Oxford as the former home of the Arbeka Tribal Town from which Muscogee people were forced out of their homelands in Alabama and Georgia.

• The free public festival at Choccolocco Park features Muscogee storytelling, hymn singing, arts and crafts vendors, history presentations, live painting by Muscogee artists, and meet-and-greets with tribal leadership.

• The Alabama House of Representatives extends honor and commendations to the festival and extends best wishes for its continued success.
