House Resolution 276 commends Mr. Desi Keith for his service through D2 Line Dancing, a fitness program in Birmingham, Alabama that serves citizens of all ages.

Mr. Keith is the owner, director, and senior instructor of D2 Line Dancing with over 10 years of experience teaching fitness, line dancing, zumba, and aerobics; he holds CPR certification for adults and children through the American Red Cross and an ASE Certificate.

D2 Line Dancing began on January 7, 2012, at the Crescendo Bar and Lounge with seven participants and has grown to over 80 participants meeting at the YWCA Monday through Thursday.

Mr. Keith received the 2016 NAACP Man of Distinction Award for Outstanding Community Service and D2 Line Dancing received the 2018 NAACP Community Empowerment Award; the program has performed for the Tom Joyner Morning Show, Rickey Smiley Morning Show, and Universoul Circus.

The House of Representatives dedicates this resolution to Mr. Keith with gratitude and admiration for teaching and inspiring others through D2 Line Dancing.
