Congratulates the Nerdettes, an all-girl FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics Team from Huntsville, for their accomplishments in the 2021/2022 season.

Team qualified to compete against 160 teams from across the world at the FIRST Tech Robotics World Championship in Houston, Texas, from April 20-23, 2022.

Team won multiple awards across state tournaments including First Place Connect Award at Tennessee State Championship, First Place Connect Award at Arkansas State Championship, and multiple placements at Alabama State Championship; team member Emily King was a Dean's List Finalist at Alabama State Championship.

Team comprises 9th, 10th, and 11th grade STEM students from Huntsville High School and St. John Paul II Catholic High School; this is their fourth consecutive year qualifying for the World Championship and the only Alabama team to qualify that year.

Resolution serves as tribute to team members Emily King, Ava McIntosh, Ellen Vegerita, Hailey Holsonback, Averiel Brininger, Megan Quinn, and Sydney MacMurray.
