• Dr. Paul B. Mohr, Sr. died on January 3, 2022, at age 90; he was born August 19, 1931, in Waco, Texas.

• Dr. Mohr earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Florida A and M University, a Master's Degree from the University of New Mexico, and a Doctorate of Education from Oklahoma State University, all with National Science Foundation fellowships.

• He held numerous academic leadership positions including President and Professor of Mathematics at Talladega College, Dean of the College of Education at Florida A and M University, and Vice President and Professor of Mathematics at Norfolk State University.

• Dr. Mohr received extensive recognition including the NASA Public Service Group Achievement Award, Florida A and M University Living Legend Award, and Freedom Fighter Medallion from the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education.

• The House of Representatives records his death with deep sadness and offers this resolution in tribute to his life and accomplishments, with sympathy extended to his surviving family members.
