Commends Robert W. Pickett, Jr. for more than 17 years of service on the State Employees' Insurance Board (SEIB), which provides health insurance benefits for state employees and their dependents.

Recognizes that Pickett was appointed to SEIB in 2004 by the Alabama Retired State Employees Association and was subsequently elected for four additional terms to SEIB Place Two.

Acknowledges Pickett's role in providing stability during major insurance program changes, including implementation of the Federal Affordable Care Act mandates and transition to Medicare Advantage Plans.

Notes Pickett's prior service as Chief Financial Officer of the Alabama Department of Transportation for more than two decades, where he managed billion-dollar budgets and oversaw complex fiscal systems.

The House of Representatives honors Pickett's legacy of public service and his positive impact on thousands of Alabamians.
