• Amends Section 34-14B-3 of the Code of Alabama 1975 regarding home inspector licensure requirements.

• Clarifies legislative intent that the insurance requirements for home inspectors do not express public policy against contractual limitations of liability between home inspectors and their customers.

• Maintains existing insurance requirements: minimum $20,000 for property damage, $50,000 per person for injury or death, and $100,000 for multiple persons, plus errors and omissions insurance.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
