Proposes a constitutional amendment to allow mayors in Montgomery County municipalities that participate in the Employees' Retirement System of Alabama to join the system on the same terms as other employees.

Permits mayors currently in office at the time of ratification to purchase service credit for their time already served in their current office.

Prohibits any person from participating in both a supernumerary program and the Employees' Retirement System based on the same service.

Election on the proposed amendment shall be held in accordance with Section 284.01 of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901 and state election laws.
