• Grants the Sheriff of Bullock County an expense allowance of $12,000 per annum, in addition to all other compensation and salary, payable from the county general fund effective immediately upon passage.

• Expense allowance may be treated as compensation for retirement contributions and is paid in the same manner as other county employees or officials.

• Beginning the sheriff's next term of office after the effective date, increases the annual salary by $12,000 per annum in addition to all other compensation, at which point the temporary expense allowance provision becomes void.

• All compensation is payable from the general fund of Bullock County.

• Act becomes effective immediately upon Governor's approval or otherwise becoming law.
