SB288 Summary

• Changes the deadline for the last pre-election campaign finance report from 12:01 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. on the day before legislative, state school board, or statewide primary, special, runoff, or general elections.

• Applies when a principal campaign committee or political action committee receives or spends $5,000 or more in the aggregate on that day with a view toward influencing an election's results.

• Report must include all reportable activity occurring on the day of the report and all activity since the most recent prior report.

• Becomes effective August 1, 2023.
