• Authorizes agricultural authorities to enter into long-term contracts or agreements for sewer service with Class 5 municipalities within three miles or their utility boards.

• Exempts agricultural authorities from all municipal planning boards, planning board requirements, zoning ordinances, and zoning laws.

• Specifies that agricultural authorities are exempt from all state, county, and municipal sales and use taxes as governmental entities and are entitled to certificates of exemption.

• For authorities established after May 1, 2022, allows county commissions to opt out of requiring sales tax rebates from private entities or joint venture partners.
