Relocates the Walter C. Givhan Parkway designation on Alabama Highway 8 (U.S. Highway 80) to begin at the East Dallas County Line and extend through Dallas County and Perry County to the Perry County Boundary with Marengo County.

Designates the portion of the highway located in Dallas and Perry Counties as the Walter C. Givhan Parkway.

Requests removal of conflicting signs or markers in Montgomery County and Lowndes County.

Requests maintenance of existing signs in Dallas County and placement of new signs at county line boundaries and other suitable locations visible to eastbound and westbound traffic, including a site west of Selma police jurisdiction.

Honors Walter C. Givhan (1902-1976), who served 38 years in the Alabama Legislature and was recognized as the "father of the soybean movement in Alabama."
