Congratulates the Hewitt-Trussville High School Girls Flag Football Team on winning the Alabama High School Athletic Association State Championship in 2021, the inaugural year of girls flag football.

Team finished with a perfect 11-0 record and won the first-ever Girls Flag Football State Championship game by defeating Smiths Station High School 14-13 at Protective Stadium in Birmingham.

This championship marks the school's eighteenth state title in school history, achieved under Co-Head Coaches Burt Taylor and Tonya Hunter with Assistant Coach Stephanie Loyd.

Lists 25 team members and one team manager by name who contributed to the successful season through teamwork, diligence, and commitment to excellence.

Resolution was adopted by the Senate on February 1, 2022 and by the House of Representatives on February 10, 2022.
