Recreates the Statewide Trauma System Funding Committee originally established by Act 2019-255, which was impeded by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Committee composition includes: House Ways and Means Chair, Senate Finance and Taxation Chair, one Governor representative, two emergency medical services representatives, one economic affairs representative, two trauma hospital representatives, two trauma surgeons, and one emergency physician.

Committee members shall be appointed to reflect diversity of gender, race, and geographical areas representative of Alabama's population.

Committee must investigate and study revenue measures needed to support the continuance and expansion of the Alabama Statewide Trauma System and make legislative recommendations.

Committee shall present findings, conclusions, and recommendations to the Legislature no later than the final legislative day of the 2023 Regular Session, after which it shall be dissolved.
