Establishes the Alabama Construction Contract Indemnification Interim Study Commission to examine liability issues among contractors, subcontractors, and materials manufacturers in the construction industry.

Commission chaired by the chair of the Senate Finance and Taxation General Fund Committee with a House member vice chair, plus representatives from 12 construction industry associations and organizations.

Commission must examine existing Alabama laws on indemnification clauses in construction contracts and determine equitable contracting methods for all parties involved in construction project agreements.

Commission shall hold properly noticed public meetings following adjournment of the 2022 Regular Legislative Session to gather input from interested parties on liability assignment clauses.

Commission must publish findings and recommended legislative changes by December 1, 2022, and automatically dissolves no later than January 31, 2023.
