Adds the Air Medal to the list of military awards eligible for distinctive permanent license plates in Alabama under Sections 32-6-250 and 32-6-251 of the Code of Alabama 1975.

Air Medal recipients must pay regular registration fees, ad valorem taxes, and an annual additional fee of $25 for the distinctive license plate.

Air Medal recipients may obtain additional distinctive license plates for multiple vehicles upon payment of all applicable fees and taxes, with an annual $25 fee per additional plate.

Net proceeds from Air Medal distinctive license plate sales, less administrative and production costs, shall be distributed to the Alabama Veterans' Assistance Fund in the State Treasury.

Act becomes effective January 1, 2024, and includes technical language updates replacing "person" with "individual" throughout the statute.
