• Changes the name of the Auburn-Opelika Convention and Visitors Bureau to Auburn-Opelika Tourism.

• Restructures the board from five members to ten voting members and two non-voting members, including representatives from Lee County Commission, Auburn and Opelika city governments, Auburn University, both chambers of commerce, and the local tourism industry.

• Designates the Lee County Extension Agent as a non-voting member and removes the provision allowing the four initially appointed board members to select a fifth member.
