• Authorizes pharmacists licensed by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy to prescribe seasonal influenza vaccines to individuals 2 years of age or older.

• Permits pharmacists to prescribe any vaccine they are authorized to administer to individuals 19 years of age or older.

• Allows pharmacists to prescribe COVID-19 vaccines to individuals 3 years of age or older.

• Enables pharmacists to prescribe any vaccine on the Centers for Disease Control's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices Immunization Schedules to individuals between 3 and 18 years of age.

• Requires pharmacists administering vaccines to minors (18 years or younger) to discuss the importance of annual well-child appointments with a pediatrician or primary care physician with the minor or accompanying adult.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval.
