Establishes an additional expense allowance for Chambers County Revenue Commissioner effective the first day of the month following the act's passage, bringing total expense allowance and salary to $84,000 per year paid in equal monthly installments.

Expense allowance shall be treated as salary for retirement purposes and is in addition to any other salary, expense allowance, or compensation the revenue commissioner currently receives.

Beginning the next term of office after the act's effective date, the annual salary of the revenue commissioner becomes $84,000 per year, at which point the temporary expense allowance provision becomes void.

Starting October 1, 2024, the revenue commissioner shall receive the same uniform compensation increases (such as cost-of-living adjustments) as other elected county officers, with increases paid as expense allowances during the term and added to permanent salary at the end of each term.

Compensation shall be paid from any fund or funds currently used to pay the revenue commissioner's salary; act becomes effective immediately upon passage and Governor approval.
