Montgomery County Commission shall create the Montgomery County Legislative Delegation Fund after an affirmative vote and deposit at least $325,000 into the fund at the beginning of each fiscal year.

Commission shall immediately pay amounts from the fund as requested by the Montgomery County Legislative Delegation for equipment, supplies, services, and other necessary items to establish and maintain a legislative office.

Commission shall employ an office manager and two administrative assistants selected with advice and consent of delegation members, who shall report to the delegation chair and support delegation operations.

Commission shall be responsible for the wages and benefits of the three office employees in addition to the annual $325,000 fund deposit.

The largest city in Montgomery County shall provide adequate office space for the delegation office, including telephone, Internet, electricity, water, and other utility services, with location selected by the delegation members.
