HB517 Summary

• Amends Section 45-37-91.04 of the Alabama Code to modify the board of directors of the Greater Birmingham Convention and Visitor's Bureau.

• Adds one additional board member: the mayor or their designee of the city in Jefferson County with the second largest population according to the most recent federal decennial census.

• The new board member shall participate in the appointment of directors at large in addition to the existing eight designated board members.
