Rescinds all previous Alabama Legislature resolutions requesting Congress to call a constitutional convention under Article V of the U.S. Constitution, many of which date back to at least 1833.

States that Alabama Legislature no longer supports these previous requests and does not wish them counted with applications from other states seeking an Article V convention.

Argues that a constitutional convention could fundamentally alter the Constitution with uncontrollable outcomes, including adoption of a new constitution with different ratification procedures, citing concerns raised by James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and former Supreme Court Justices.

Urges all other state legislatures that have requested Congress to call a constitutional convention to withdraw those requests.

Directs Alabama Secretary of State to transmit certified copies of this resolution to federal and state legislative leadership.
