Commends Coach Ronald "Jack" Jackson for induction into the Alabama High School Sports Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2023.

Coach Jackson is a 1977 graduate of Dallas County High School and University of Mississippi (1982), and earned a Master's Degree from University of Mississippi in 1987.

Led Monroe County High School Girls Basketball Team to 1987 State Championship and broke the state's longest-running winning streak in girls' basketball; later launched a 62-game winning streak at T.R. Miller High School with four girls' state basketball titles.

Compiled a combined boys and girls teams coaching record of 1,006 wins and 335 losses, guided 13 teams to Alabama High School Athletic Association State Basketball Championships Final Four, and coached the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic in 1995, 2002, and 2009.

Actively involved in community service through the Senior Citizen Commissions Club, Jones Memorial Freedom Church Deacon Board, Sunday School teaching, and volunteer work with homeless and underprivileged populations.
