Colonel Kesler Weaver, Jr. is honored for achieving the rank of Colonel in the Alabama Army National Guard after enlisting in 1987 and commissioning as an Ordnance Officer in 1999.

Colonel Weaver completed multiple military education courses including the Ordnance Officer Basic Course (2000), Combined Arms and Services Staff School (2008), and Senior Service War College (2021).

His military career includes commanding logistics units at company and battalion levels, deployments to Germany (2003) and Kuwait (2022), and key assignments including Aide De Camp to the 21st TSC Commander and Senior Logistician for Governor Kay Ivey's Covid-19 Task Force (2020).

Colonel Weaver currently serves as the G-3 of the 135th Expeditionary Sustainment Command in Birmingham, Alabama, and has received numerous military decorations including the Bronze Star Medal and Meritorious Service Medal with oak leaf clusters.

Colonel Weaver holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Faulkner University and a Master Degree in Strategic Studies from Air War College at Maxwell Air University, and is married to Shannon Weaver with eight children and six grandchildren.
