Commends the Council of State Governments Southern Office (CSG South), a nonpartisan nonprofit organization serving 15 Southern states including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Recognizes CSG South's mission to connect, inform, inspire, and empower public servants across all three branches of state government to implement policy solutions.

Acknowledges the 77th Southern Legislative Conference convening in Charleston, South Carolina from July 8-12, 2023, continuing a 76-year tradition that began in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Notes that more than 1,500 Southern legislators, government staff, and their families will attend to discuss policy matters affecting Southern states and address current policy trends, challenges, and opportunities.
