Hazel Green High School Girls Basketball Team won the 2023 Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A State Basketball Tournament on March 4, 2023, defeating Huffman High School.

The team achieved six consecutive state championships (back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back).

Team roster includes 14 players: Kelsi Andrews, Reagan Baeder, Leah Brooks, Addison Cantrell, Nyla Collier, Brett Douglas, Ashlyn Elliott, Kristen Johnson, Ashley King, Zyriah Price, Amiya Redus, Sydney Steward, Jasmine Thomas, and Jaden Toney.

Coaching staff consists of Head Coach Tim Miller, Assistant Coaches Jesse Brooks, Demetrius Miller, and Fred Steger, Athletic Trainer Leslie Payne, and Managers Leah Townsend and Nyla Wright.

The Alabama Legislature expresses congratulations and admiration to the team and coaches for their outstanding achievement.
