Commends Charles Hardin Smith of Troop 201 for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout on June 28, 2022, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America.

Smith completed an Eagle Scout Project by building a large deck onto the back of the House of the Harvest to support their food bank operations and community service work.

Smith earned 31 merit badges, camped more than 60 nights, and completed over 200 hours of community service during his scouting career.

Smith graduated from Sparkman High School in the top 10 percent of his class with a 3.88 GPA and is currently a freshman at Auburn University studying Aerospace Engineering.

The House of Representatives highly commends Smith for his outstanding achievement and exemplary characteristics of trustworthiness, self-discipline, and good citizenship.
