Commends Kent Davenport on attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America.

Recognizes that Eagle Scout rank, earned by only a small percentage of scouts, requires completion of an Eagle Scout project, earning 21 merit badges, and demonstrating honor, loyalty, courage, cheer, and service.

Honors Davenport's Eagle Scout project of designing and building two separate agility courses for dogs at the city's off-leash dog park just off 12th Avenue Northeast, with one course for smaller dogs and another for larger dogs.

Acknowledges Davenport's demonstrated characteristics of trustworthiness, self-discipline, and good citizenship throughout his years in the Scouting program.

The Alabama House of Representatives highly commends Kent Davenport for his outstanding achievement and extends best wishes for his future endeavors.
