Honors Mr. Dewey J. Bondurant, Jr. for serving as Mayor of Flomaton, Alabama for 23 years before retiring in April 2023.

Recognizes Mayor Bondurant's accomplishments including leading the construction of Hurricane Park in 1985, completing the four-laning of Highway 113 to Interstate-65 in November 2008, and overseeing construction of a new firehouse, library, and Town Hall.

Acknowledges Mayor Bondurant's ability to secure funding for public improvements with minimal local funds.

Renames Hurricane Park in Flomaton, Alabama to Dewey J. Bondurant, Jr. Park in recognition of his service and accomplishments.
