Honors Mr. Dewey J. Bondurant, Jr. for serving as Mayor of Flomaton, Alabama for 23 years before retiring in April 2023.

Recognizes Mayor Bondurant's accomplishments including leading the park committee that constructed Hurricane Park in 1985 and spearheading the four-laning of Highway 113 from Flomaton to Interstate-65, completed in November 2008.

Acknowledges his role in funding and constructing downtown drainage improvements, a new firehouse, library, and Town Hall with minimal local funds.

Renames Hurricane Park in Flomaton, Alabama to Dewey J. Bondurant, Jr. Park in recognition of his dedicated service and accomplishments.
