Westminster Christian Academy Varsity Girls Soccer Team won the 2023 Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 4A State Soccer Championship, their first championship in program history.

The team achieved victory through a 4-2 penalty shootout against St. Michael Catholic High School.

AnnaLi Weekley was named MVP after scoring in the shootout and scoring four goals in the semifinals.

Head Coach Hunter Chapman provided leadership to 21 team members listed in the resolution.

The House of Representatives congratulates the team and dedicates the resolution to the players and coach with admiration and best wishes for continued success.
