Acknowledges and congratulates Ovetta Hobson for serving as the 25th President of the Huntsville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, during 2019-2021 and 2021-2023.

Recognizes Hobson's leadership in establishing partnerships with Girls, Incorporated; Meals on Wheels; Rise Against Hunger; CASA, Incorporated; and Women's Economic Development Council, and her role in advocating for removal of the confederate statue from the courthouse lawn.

Highlights fundraising and community service achievements including the largest school supply drive in over 20 years for Girls, Incorporated; over $20,000 raised for Meals on Wheels in December 2021; and over $100,000 raised in 2021 for scholarships and community projects.

Notes her technological innovation in managing virtual programs during the pandemic and her recognition by city, county, and state officials, including Commissioner Violet Edwards of District Six.
