Congratulates the Hoover High School Boys Varsity Basketball Team for winning the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Class 7A State Championship.

Hoover defeated Central High School with a final score of 84-66, marking the team's first state title since 2015.

Hoover's basketball program achieved a rare sweep with both boys and girls teams winning state championships, making them the eighth team in AHSAA history to accomplish this feat.

Names Head Coach Scott Ware and five assistant coaches (Trent Hosmer, Keyon Williams, Josh Landers, Corey Hancock, and Antonio Hampton), along with 16 champion players.
