Minister Terry W. Pope of Grove Hill, Alabama, died on April 10, 2023, at the age of 59.

Born March 13, 1964, in Clarke County, Alabama, Minister Pope graduated from Thomasville High School in 1983 and served as a firefighter with the City of Thomasville Fire Department and Demopolis Fire and Rescue Department.

He coached numerous little league teams in Thomasville and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

Minister Pope is survived by his wife Karen, three children (Tevin, Marissa, and Keila Johnson), six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, five brothers, three sisters, and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The House of Representatives records his death with deep sadness and offers this resolution as a tribute to his life and memory.
