Amends Alabama Code Section 16-22-6 to require local boards of education to adopt policies allowing salary deductions for membership dues paid to professional educators' associations.

Deductions must be made from salaries earned in at least nine different pay periods and remitted to the appropriate organization within 10 days following each deduction.

Membership lists and forms provided by employees' organizations must be corrected, updated, and returned not later than November 10 of each school year.

Employees may revoke annual membership dues deductions in writing on or before September 15 each year, and voluntary contributions may be revoked with 30-day written notice.

Act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor, and does not apply to four-year postsecondary institutions.
