AL SB146

Amends Section 45-39-200.05 of the Code of Alabama 1975 regarding the Lauderdale County Office of License Commissioner.

Authorizes the license commissioner to mail license renewal applications to persons, firms, and corporations that held licenses during the previous license year.

Establishes a mail fee of one dollar ($1) per mailing for preparing and mailing renewal applications by first class mail.

Allows the commissioner to increase the mail fee amount with county commission approval to adequately cover handling and mailing costs for renewed licenses.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon becoming law.
