Amends Section 35-2-57 of the Alabama Code to specify how judges of probate must record vacated maps or plats, with different procedures for tangible versus electronic records.

For tangible maps or plats, the judge must write "vacated" in plain letters across the record and reference the volume and page where the vacation instrument is recorded.

For electronic or digital images of maps or plats, the judge must record a certificate indicating the map or plat has been vacated as part of the property records.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
