Increases the annual salary of the Barbour County Sheriff by $29,000 per year, effective the first day of the month following the act's effective date.

Salary increase is paid from the general fund of Barbour County in the same manner as the sheriff's current salary and is in addition to any other compensation provided by law.

Sheriff is entitled to receive the same uniform increases in compensation, including cost-of-living increases, granted equally to all Barbour County employees after the act's effective date.

Act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following its passage and approval by the Governor.
