• Commends Mrs. Jeana Ross, retired Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education Secretary, for her induction into The University of Alabama College of Education 2023 Hall of Fame.

• Recognizes Mrs. Ross's 18-year career serving state public schools as a teacher and administrator, during which she helped acquire more than $7.5 million in grant funding for early childhood initiatives benefiting low-income children and families.

• Acknowledges her key roles including appointment to the governor's task force for the Alabama First Class Pre-K Program expansion in 2007, Secretary of the Department of Early Childhood Education in 2012, and service on the Education Commission of the United States in 2017.

• Highlights her accomplishments including guiding the P-3 Integrated Approach to Early Learning, launching the Born Ready initiative, and establishing a research team that made Alabama a national model in high-quality early childhood education.
