Brad Johnson was a deputy sheriff in Bibb County who was shot while pursuing a stolen vehicle on June 29, 2022, and died from his wounds on June 30, 2022

Deputy Johnson served in law enforcement since 2013, became a K-9 handler in 2017, and was an organ donor with two children

Requests the Department of Transportation to coordinate with local governing officials on fabricating and erecting appropriate signs or markers consistent with applicable requirements and laws

Passed by the Senate on April 4, 2023, and the House of Representatives on April 12, 2023
