Commemorates the death of James Winfrey "Jim" Wilson III, who died on March 11, 2023, at age 59, describing him as an Alabama business titan, philanthropist, and civic leader.

Recognizes Wilson's career achievements including serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Jim Wilson and Associates, a Montgomery-based real estate and investment firm, and developing major projects such as Riverchase Galleria in Birmingham, the Mall of Louisiana in Baton Rouge, and EastChase in Montgomery.

Notes Wilson's service on the Board of Trustees of The University of Alabama, where he served as Chair of the Athletics Committee and President of The University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital Authority.

Survived by his wife of 35 years, Susie Forst Wilson; two daughters; his mother; three siblings; and five grandchildren.

The Legislature records Wilson's death with deep sadness and offers this resolution in tribute to his life and in sympathy to his family.
