Reverend Frederick G. "Freddie" Outlaw died on March 4, 2023, at age 71, leaving a void in his family and community where he was highly regarded.

Reverend Outlaw earned a Bachelor Degree from Athens State College in 1976 and advanced degrees from Gammon Theological Seminary (1979) and Tuskegee University (1989), accepting his call to Christian ministry in 1979.

During 42 years of service in Christian ministry, he served as Pastor, District Superintendent in the North Alabama and Alabama-West Florida Conferences of the United Methodist Church, and was Senior Pastor of Toulminville-Warren Street United Methodist Church in Mobile, Alabama at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife Amanda Kay Carr Outlaw, daughters Johanna Kenese Outlaw and Rashida Asha Outlaw, son Ahmed Asim Outlaw, and four grandchildren.

The House of Representatives records his death with deep sadness and offers this resolution as tribute to his life and as condolences to his family.
