Commends Oak Mountain Middle School on its 30th anniversary since opening in 1993 as a Shelby County School serving Indian Springs Village and Greater North Shelby County.

Recognizes the school's achievements including the Alabama Department of Education Award for Exceeding the Challenge, two Alabama Safe Schools Initiative Awards (2010 and 2019), and teacher Jeffrey Norris being named Alabama Teacher of the Year in 2023.

Congratulates Dr. Larry Haynes on his retirement after serving as Principal for 19 years and acknowledges his recognition as Alabama's Middle School Principal of the Year in 2022.
