Proposes a constitutional amendment to authorize the Houston County Commission to appoint members to the Houston County Health Care Authority Board of Directors, replacing the current procedure where the authority determines appointment procedures through its articles of incorporation.

Board members appointed by the county commission must be of good moral character and cannot have been convicted of a felony or other offense involving moral turpitude.

Any director who has completed a six-year term as of the amendment's ratification shall have their position immediately vacated and be replaced by the county commission within 30 days; directors who have not completed a six-year term may finish their current term.

The Houston County Health Care Authority board must amend its governing documents to reflect the amendment's requirements.

Amendment becomes valid upon approval by a majority of qualified electors voting in an election held in accordance with Alabama's constitutional election procedures.
