• Grants a 2 percent salary increase for fiscal year 2024-2025 to certificated employees (teachers) at all city and county school systems, with the increase applied uniformly across all years of experience on the State Minimum Salary Schedule.

• Provides a 2 percent pay increase to education support personnel (K-12) and adult bus drivers, with increases applied to all steps of existing salary schedules for full-time employees and to base rates for part-time employees.

• Establishes 2 percent salary increases for employees at the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind (AIDB), the Board of Youth Services School District, the Alabama School of Fine Arts, the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering, and the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science.

• Requires the Board of Trustees of the Community College System to revise all two-year postsecondary institution salary schedules to reflect a 2 percent increase, with increases given in addition to any step increases earned.

• Excludes school superintendents from the pay increase provisions; any superintendent pay increase requires a majority recorded vote by the governing body.
