Amends Sections 1-2-1 and 1-2-2 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to alter the official state coat of arms.

Removes the Confederate flag from the coat of arms and replaces it with Alabama itself as one of the featured sovereignties.

Changes the ship crest description from "Badine which brought the French colonists" to "Badine which brought the French explorers" and revises "white settlements" to "European colony."

Updates heraldic descriptions in the formal coat of arms specification to remove the Confederacy quarter and replace it with pure argent and crimson saltire for Alabama.

Becomes effective on October 1, 2024.
