Amends Alabama law to require all public K-12 sex education and human reproductive system curriculum to teach sexual risk avoidance and emphasize abstinence from sexual activity.

Prohibits sex education curriculum from demonstrating contraceptives, misrepresenting their efficacy, providing information on obtaining abortion services, or including sexually explicit images or materials.

Requires parents and guardians receive written notification at least 14 days before sex education is taught and grants them the right to opt their child out of instruction without penalty.

Prohibits school boards from using individuals or organizations that do not endorse sexual risk avoidance as primary sex education approach, or that perform abortions, provide abortion referrals, or support abortion advocacy or funding.

Authorizes the Attorney General to enforce provisions of the law by obtaining injunctive relief; bill becomes effective October 1, 2024.
