Increases maximum authorized length for recreational vessels on Lake Harris (Lake Wedowee), Lake Martin, and Weiss Lake from 30 feet 6 inches to Class 3 vessels as defined in Section 33-5-17, effective October 1, 2024.

Updates code language by replacing references to "the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources" with "Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency" throughout the boating regulations.

Permits continued use of vessels exceeding the new length limits if they were licensed and in use or available for sale at a marina on the referenced lakes as of July 1, 2006, subject to annual inspections and permit requirements.

Makes technical and nonsubstantive revisions to modernize existing statutory definitions and language for clarity, including updates to definitions of marina, marine sanitation device, recreational vessel, and sewage.

Becomes effective October 1, 2024.
