Prohibits rock quarries in Limestone County from conducting blasting operations outside municipal corporate limits within two miles of any building or structure designated as a historical building and site under Alabama Code Section 40-8-1.

Applies to blasting operations beginning June 1, 2024.

Restricts only operations outside the corporate limits of municipalities, leaving operations within municipalities unaffected.

Becomes effective June 1, 2024.
