• St. Clair County Coroner receives an additional expense allowance of $525 per month beginning October 1, 2024, paid from the county general fund.

• St. Clair County Deputy Coroner receives an additional expense allowance of $2,600 per year beginning October 1, 2024, paid from the county general fund.

• Upon expiration of the incumbent coroner's term, all expense allowances for the coroner position shall be converted to salary and previous expense allowances become void.

• Upon expiration of the incumbent coroner's term, all expense allowances for the deputy coroner position shall be converted to salary, the position title becomes Deputy Coroner of St. Clair County, and previous expense allowances become void.

• The act becomes effective October 1, 2024.
